Early days, counted honestly.
We are a young organisation. These are small numbers, and we would rather show you small numbers we can stand behind than large ones we cannot.

Seed balls: an old way of sowing.
Seeds scattered by hand rarely survive. Birds and insects take them, and the heat dries out the ones that are left before the monsoon arrives.
A seed ball fixes that. We choose local seeds, keeping their size and type in mind, and wrap each one in a ball of black soil and organic manure. The shell protects the seed and feeds it, and it holds until the rains soften it, so the seed germinates at the right moment.
We placed the seed balls near water reservoirs and at the edges of forest, where they stand the best chance of growing, across 10 villages in Jawa block of Rewa district.

Honesty
What we do not claim.
These are the rules we count by.
- We do not count a person twice because they took part in two of our activities.
- We do not report seed balls sown or saplings planted without, in time, reporting how many took root.
- We do not claim outcomes from work run by our partners.
- Where a figure is an estimate rather than a measurement, we say so.
